We loved the apartment-style rooms, perfect for our family with children. The hotel's central location and proximity to the waterfront were big pluses. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options for both adults and children. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. A special mention to the evening attendant who helped us communicate using Google-translate.
Felt immediately at home, no complaints.

Hotel Dom Aktora is in the peaceful corner of the city anyway it is almost in the middle of the old town. The hotel itself is very tranquil and safe and the rooms are pleasant and homelike. Breakfast table is compact but sufficient.

Excellent staff, helpful and pleasant. Surprised by the afternoon coffee free of charge with home baked cake. Quiet area and good privacy. Good room service every day and all very clean. Simple and cozy hotel for those who do well without luxury. Central but quiet location. Good value for your money.

Location was good, only 500 m from the Old Town Center. We had a very large flat, kitchen and 2 rooms.

Helpful staff, everything worked perfectly as was agreed. Good location in the old town, and close to the river. We got a big and tasty breakfast pack because of our early departure. German and English speaking personnel.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a quiet street only yards from the riverside. The location is perfect, right in the town center but away from the noise. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with all modern conveniences, including a kitchenette. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the breakfast included is a real treat with tasty coffee and delicious homemade cake.
No major issues to mention, everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful area, right in the center of town. the hotel was located on the main river front of the old town, making it easy to explore and soak in the charm of the city. the room was clean and comfortable, with antique/retro furniture giving it a unique atmosphere. the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the buffet breakfast had a good variety of choices and the service was great.
The lack of a view from our room, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Clean, friendly and good location i.e. central to the city. Reception staff spoke English and this was very helpful.
No lift - this wasn't a big problem but it would be difficult for older couples.

Great location. We stayed in the larger appartments, 2 adults and 2 teenager, 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen... Much better solution than a hotel room but for about the same price.

In close walking distance to everything from the train station to the solidarity museum, this hotel is right in the city center. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. Cleanliness was paramount, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. The parking was convenient and reliable.
None.

The fact that this hotel is so close to the Gdansk old town. Also the fact that it is smaller and hopefully more quiet than some others.
Our bed had a broken spring which stuck up out of the bed. The shower gel dispenser was empty on arrival. We had to prompt staff to refill it.

Location was perfect - very close to waterfront but not too noisy. Breakfast was excellent. Child friendly - worked very well with us as a family.
Nothing too problematic but for us with small children a microwave or toaster would have been useful in the kitchen. Also, double bed was on the small side!
